Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia shine as Napoli make it two wins – Sporting Life
Victor Osimhen scored his second goal of the new Serie A season as Napoli secured two wins from as many games, with Kvaratskhelia scoring in each half of a walk at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona before Kim Min-jae scored his first goal for the club late.
It was another exciting performance from Kvaratskhelia, who was an instant hit in Naples. The Georgia winger has already scored three goals and set up another since joining from Rubin Kazan last month.

“He has quality and a lot of options because he can shoot with both feet and pass players,” coach Luciano Spalletti told DAZN.
His two goals on Sunday were both superb, opening the scoring in the 35th minute with an unstoppable curling shot that ricocheted off the post before scoring Napoli’s third just after the hour, slipping past Valentin Antov and a perfect one Low shot placed the bottom corner.

Spalletti’s side have scored nine goals to reach their maximum points tally, not the start fans were expecting before the season began.
Fans were angered by the way Napoli’s title fight collapsed at the end of last season, and frustration only grew when popular players were sold or allowed to leave as free agents.
But Kvaratskhelia’s sparkling performances and the quick signings of Giovanni Simeone, Tanguy Ndombele and Giacomo Raspadori over the past three days have completely changed the mood in a football-mad city.

However, it was a nightmare night for Monza, who have zero points and lost centre-back Andrea Ranocchia to an ankle injury coach Giovanni Stroppa described as “very serious”.
Empoli and Fiorentina drew in a goalless draw that ended after 10 minutes of added time when referee Matteo Marchetti had to swap places with fourth official Juan Luca Sacchi after suffering a calf injury.
