Range Rover Sport officially unveiled in Singapore, Lifestyle News

The Range Rover Sport was officially launched in Singapore! Now in its third generation, it promises to redefine sporting luxury by combining assertive and instinctive on-road performance with hallmark Range Rover refinement.

Externally, the car’s dramatic proportions and taut finish hint at its position in the Range Rover line-up, with its design then being further accentuated by stealthy details and muscular proportions.

The subtle-intentional idea was peppered throughout the vehicle. You’ll find this up front with its sleek grille and digital LED light clusters, particularly with the latter’s distinctive DRL signature. At the rear is a sculpted tailgate with Range Rover lettering running the full width, complemented by a spoiler that is the longest ever fitted to a Range Rover product.

The clean lines of the exterior are punctuated by beautifully executed flush glazing and door handles, a hidden waist molding and a laser welded roof for a precise, engineered and sophisticated appearance. And the result of this attention to detail? A drag coefficient of just 0.29.

Inside the cabin, the car features the signature Range Rover Command Driving Position, the latest technologies and the finest materials. There are sustainable materials to choose from, but you can also choose to dress your Range Rover Sport in luxurious full grain, Windsor or soft semi-aniline leather.

These tactile materials blend seamlessly with the new Moonlight Chrome interior trim, while elements like the integrated audio speakers, developed with Meridian and hidden behind the fabric of the rear doors, contribute to the clean, crisp and modern aesthetic.

Based on the flexible mixed-metal architecture (MLA-Flex), the new car is up to 35 percent stiffer than the previous model. It works in harmony with a range of systems controlled by the Integrated Chassis Control system, all of which have been specifically tuned for the new Range Rover Sport.
