Rangers vs. Liverpool: Preview, date, time, live stream and how to watch Champions League match in Canada

Liverpool are currently fighting on two fronts.

In the Premier League, the Reds find themselves in 10th place after a forgetful start to the 2022-23 season. They fell to leaders Arsenal at the weekend and face second-placed Manchester City on Sunday.

In between, Liverpool have to face Scottish Rangers in the Champions League. Jurgen Klopp’s side are second after three games – including a 2-0 win over the Glasgow club last week – but the way things are going there’s no guarantee Liverpool will find themselves in the knockout stages , unless the team’s form improves.

For that, says Klopp, his players have to “keep fighting”.

“We will do that [Wednesday] Nacht because we have to do it because Rangers, not just after what Giovanni van Bronckhorst said in the press conference or the interviews, want to put things right and score in the Champions League group,” said Klopp.

“They tried a different defensive approach with five defenders and now they want to attack and attack in a great atmosphere. I’ve never played here (at Ibrox) and I’m really happy to experience that. It’s a tough game in another competition [but] we have to do that.”
