Until you reach the second act contempt, you should be prepared for how dull this game is. Nothing is spelled out, and the game relies on you simply intuiting what you need to do, either through trial and error or luck. While there is some combat in the game, your main sticking points will boil down to the puzzles you face in each act. The puzzle in the second act is one of the most complicated in the game.

Instead of just one puzzle contempt throws a series of spinning puzzles at you if you make it to Act Two. You must solve four individual puzzles before you can interact with the main controls, which you see after entering the glowing red room. This is where you pick up the cylindrical device you need to interact with these puzzles from a corpse. How to solve the first sliding puzzle

The first sliding puzzle is right next to the body you detach the device from.

Step 1: Rotate the dial to the left twice.

Step 2: Press the “Use” button on the notch.

Step 3: Rotate the dial to the right four times.

Step 4: Press the “Use” button on the notch.

Step 5: Spin the wheel once to the left.

Step 6: Click the “Use” button in the last notch.

Step 7: Rotate the dial once to the left so all three are vertically aligned.

How to solve the second and third spinning puzzles

The problem with the next few puzzles is that the notches you’re trying to align move on their own, making it impossible to give specific instructions on how to solve them. However, there is a trick to finding out.

Step 1: Watch the notches and see where they stop.

Step 2: When a notch stops, a clicking sound will be heard.

Step 3: Align the dial to where the notches stop and press “Use” at the right time.

Step 4: Do them in the same order as the first puzzle, starting with the outer ring and moving on to the inner rings.

Step 5: When you have all three, bring them upstairs to solve the puzzles.

How to solve the final spinning puzzle

Also for the last rotating puzzle one cannot give any concrete instructions. Again, the rings spin and make clicking sounds when the notches are interactable, except now the last notch is invisible.

Step 1: Repeat the same tactics used in puzzles two and three.

Step 2: If you only have the last notch, position your dial on the bottom left.

Step 3: Wait for the click and grab it.

Step 4: Complete the puzzle as usual.
