Former champion Holloway is trying to recover from his third loss to reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski while British challenger Allen is looking to secure a shot at the gold.
Last time out, Ipswich fighter Allen Calvin Kattar put so much pressure on the American that the American picked up an injury, while Holloway’s third clash with Volkanovski played out just like their previous encounters – ‘Alexander The Great’ won on points.
Hawaiian Holloway, 31, is keen to prove he’s still capable of a title run while Allen, 29, is aiming for a 13th straight win and his biggest header yet.

Quarantillo landed a shot and fired for a takedown, but Barboza had timed his shot perfectly.

Quarantillo fires up a one-legged takedown almost immediately.
He supports Barboza to the fence but the Brazilian manages to break free and circle. Barboza just misses with an uppercut.
He rams a kick into southpaw Quarantillo’s lead leg. Now one more.
Quarantillo fires back with a body kick, but Barboza aims low again. The Brazilian then unloads a hook on Quarantillo’s body.
Quarantillo supports Barboza and lands a nice elbow against the fence.

The Brazilian veteran was stopped by Shane Burgos in August 2021 before suffering a points loss to Bryce Mitchell in March 2022.
