Trainer Nathan Kotzen saddles Warrior Of Royalty in Race 1. He made a promising 1100m debut at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

He came up like a winner, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Cliff Hanger. It must be noted that the horse that placed third that day came out and has won ever since.

Pathfork’s son found plenty of support from betting, suggesting he was showing good work at home. If he is not too green around the tack and the natural improvement that is expected he should be the horse to beat.

Vaseem has his first run for trainer Paul Lafferty’s stable in Race 5. He’s better than his last start in the Gr3 WSB Tommy Hotspur Stakes.

He has won four times, finished second once and third once out of nine starts over this distance.

He’ll likely use his early gate speed to do so without using too much energy, and he can be difficult to push back.

Cole Dicken will not be driving today.

Azubi S Hlengwa rode his 40th winner and will now claim a 1.5kg allowance.
