The Packers and Chiefs will face off in one of the more interesting fights of the preseason Thursday, although it remains to be seen how strong their starting quarterbacks will be on the field.
Patrick Mahomes is coming off a preseason matchup against the Commanders in which he completed 12 of 19 passes for 162 yards and two points. That should be all he needs, although Chiefs coach Andy Reid could potentially let him play one more series before taking him out.
Conversely, Aaron Rodgers is yet to make an offensive snap in preseason. Whether Packers coach Matt LaFleur will follow Reid’s lead and have Rodgers available to play remains to be seen.
In any case, several other players should draw a lot of attention for their playstyle, including rookie receivers Skyy Moore (Chiefs) and Romeo Doubs (Green Bay) and Jordan Love for Green Bay.
