Just like previous sporting events, Canadian rapper Drake placed a big bet on the outcome of the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight.
The excitement of the big fight taking place in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday obviously rubbed off on Drake as he bet a huge sum on a KO finish.
But that doesn’t necessarily bode well for the YouTube star, who is set to punch a professional boxer for the first time in his career, as Drake is known for backing losers with notorious frequency.

What is Drake’s bet for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury?
Drake is hoping for a huge win when Jake Paul takes on Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.
The Canadian rapper revealed on his Instagram account, followed by 132 million fans worldwide, before the fight that he bet $400,000 on Paul to win the match by KO.
If this were the result of that fight, it would net the Toronto native $1,440.00.
What is the “Drake Curse”?
There are suspicions among some fans that a “Drake curse” has struck numerous teams and athletes with whom he has been associated.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are among soccer teams who have suffered defeats because of a photo of Drizzy with their jersey, while in US esports teams like the Philadelphia 76ers and Kentucky Wildcats have felt the full brunt of it.
UFC megastar Conor McGregor was clearly beaten in the biggest fight of his career when he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018 after attending the weigh-in with Drake and being assisted by the ringside artist that evening.
Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua tweeted that he would break the curse before his fight against Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019, but the promise turned into a nightmare when he suffered a shock KO in the first loss of his career suffered defeat.
