WWE Trademarks Name For Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai Group – TJR Wrestling
The trio of Bayley, Dakota and IYO SKY made their presence felt at SummerSlam and now it seems the talented trio have an official name for their group.
Following Bianca Belair’s successful Raw Women’s Title win over Becky Lynch at WWE SummerSlam, Bayley returned after a year with a knee injury and was joined by IYO SKY (formerly known as Io Shirai) and Dakota Kai.
WWE has officially filed a trademark for the group under the name Damage CTRL, as detailed in the filing noted by WrestlingNewsCo. WWE filed the trademark application on August 17.
“IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: entertainment services, namely, wrestling shows and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer presented live and over broadcast media, including television and radio, and via the internet or online commercial services; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; Fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; Organization of social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the field of sports entertainment; Online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
On August 16, after the August 15 episode of Raw, Bayley simply tweeted “DAMAGE CONTROL.”

Furthermore, the talented trio have mentioned “CONTROL” many times on social media and also used this word in some promos.
The trio were reunited at SummerSlam after Triple H (Paul Levesque) took over as Talent Relations and Head of Creative last month. One of his first reinstatements was Dakota Kai. Meanwhile, IYO SKY had her NXT contract expired and there were reports that she may not return to WWE due to questions about whether she would be on the main roster. When Triple H took over, SKY was immediately added to the main roster.
Dakota Kai and IYO SKY will be in action this Monday on Raw in Toronto as they face Alexa Bliss and Asuka in the semifinals of the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament.
The entire DAMAGE CTRL squad, consisting of Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, will take on Bliss, Asuka and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca for a six-woman tag team match on Saturday, September 3 at the Clash at the Castle Belair to be in action. This show takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales in front of 70,000 spectators.
